Charles T. Mader

Founder and CEO of Mader Engineering Inc., Tim Mader has been an engineer for nearly 50 years. Earning his degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Southwestern Louisiana (currently University of Louisiana at Lafayette), Mr. Mader has worked as an engineer in both the public and private sector until forming his own company in 1988. With an expertise in general civil and environmental engineering, Mr. Mader holds professional civil engineering certifications in both Louisiana and Texas, and is a licensed professional land surveyor. As a licensed professional environmental engineer, Mr. Mader has overseen the design of some of the most innovative engineering projects in the area, including the natural rock filter wastewater treatment systems for the cities of Rayne and Crowley. He has parlayed his years of experience into very effective work as an expert legal witness in drainage and expropriation lawsuits with a near 100% success rate. Mr. Mader is an amateur musician and family man, with four children and fifteen grandchildren. He currently lives in Lafayette where he and his wife, Suzette, have been at the same residence for nearly 40 years.

Jonas C. Harrington

Jonas Harrington has worked at Mader Engineering Inc. since receiving his degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Louisiana (then University of Southwestern Louisiana) in 1993. Currently a Certified Senior Technology Manager (C.S.T.M., C.S.I.T.), Mr. Harrington has put his education and training to work in leadership positions on many municipal projects, also serving as the President of the Acadia/Jefferson Davis Parish Utility Coordinating Committee in 1999. In addition to duties as our firm's construction supervisor and public relation contact, Mr. Harrington also serves as a grant writer and administrator for federal and state grant programs, most notably Louisiana Community Development Block Grant projects. He currently resides in Lafayette with his wife, Tonia, and two sons.

Brett P. Bayard

Working first as a Mechanical Engineer in the oil industry, Brett Bayard has the unusual distinction of holding professional engineering certifications in both Mechanical and Civil Engineering and he is also a registered Professional Land Surveyor. He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1997 at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Cooper Cameron until 2000, where his design team won the Hart's E&P Special Meritorious Award for Engineering Innovation. Since joining Mader Engineering, Inc. in 2000, Mr. Bayard has translated his skills in computer aided design and manufacturing to the civil engineering discipline, specializing in solid waste disposal and collection, wastewater collection, historic weather analysis, transportation, and operating as our surveying coordinator. He is on the Board of Governors for the American Council of Engineering Companies of Louisiana and is the Immediate Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Lafayette.

He is an avid hunter and fisherman, and lives in Lafayette with his wife, Erin, and their five children.

Benjamin N. Mader

Graduating from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2003 with a degree in Civil Engineering, Mr. Mader received his Professional Engineering License in 2007. Since then, Benjamin has garnered experience in projects relating to hydraulic / hydrologic modeling and design as well as the design and improvements of roadways, sanitary sewer collection systems, potable water distribution systems, bridges, and recreational facilities. With a reputation for thoroughness, his experience as the subdivision review agent for various municipalities complements his understanding of subdivision development for private clients. His experience with litigation consultation via forensic engineering analyses as well as mapping and grant writing only serve to round out his professional repertoire. Residing in Lafayette, Benjamin is married to the former Caroline Blair, who holds a master's degree in Civil Engineering and who is now the full time mother of their eight children.
